With the game reduced to 35 overs due to grim looking weather conditions, and Park re-jigging team selection due to yesterdays injuries, Christian O'Mahoney led PPCC in the field as Bexley batted first. Bill and Dave Partrdige opened the bowling for Park and Dave struck in his third over, with Dave Brupbacher taking the edge behind the stumps to dismiss Fisher. Bexley 19 for 1. Despite bowling well, neither Bill or Dave could make further inroads into the as usual formidable Bexley batting line up, and Johnny Ling and Roger Weston tried their luck. The change of bowling pace, foxed the Bexley batsmen and five maidens in a row were bowled before a frustrated Blackburn lofted Lingo to mid off, only to see Mr Reliable Simon Ewin take the catch. Bexley 62 for 2. A couple of overs later Lingo was at it again, with Kingham holing out to Roger Weston, and then clean bowling Heslop. With Bexley at 77 for 5, Park were back in it. Roger then got in on the act in the next over, with Christian taking a good outfield catch to leave Bexley on 83 for 6. However, at the other end Hewagama was scoring regularly and it was another thirty runs before park took another wicket, Christian O'Mahoney clean bowling Bryant. Towards the end, Christian, Joe Granger and debutant Vishal Patel all took a bit of stick, as can only be expected in a 35 over game, and Bexley finished with a formidable 159 for 6.
| Bowler | Overs | Maidens | Runs | Wickets |

Dave Fletcher, and another Park debutant, Dominic Ewer, opened the batting, and looked very solid, although the runs were not very forthcoming and when Fletch was out for a jaunty 14, Park had only 22 on the board after 10 overs. Christian rightly promoted himself to no.3 and was looking to force off the back foot when he was bowled for a duck to the dismay of the Park faithful. At 22 for 2, Simon Ewin went in and he immediately looked at home and soon had 8 to his name. However Si was then bolwed looking to force the pace, and Park were struggling at 36 for 3. When Dom Ewer was bowled for 8, Park were really up against it at 36 for 4. Dave Brupbacher and Dave Partridge were the new batsmen at the crease and they steadied the ship in good style adding 18 runs before Dave P was caught by Campbell for 7. Joe Granger joined Bru, and decided that the best way out of this hole was to have a go at the bowling and he set about it with gusto, playing a shot a ball. The crowd enjoyed this entertainment as Bru started to find the square boundarys and a frantic twenty mins saw this pair add 21 runs before Bru was caught out for a fine 24 runs. At 75 for 6, Roger Weston stepped into the fray and he and Joe settled into a promising partnership, until Joe was inevitably bowled having a swing for a very enjoyable 15. Park 87 for 7. Vishal Patel made his batting debut at no.9 and was off the mark first ball. Unfortunately he was bowled by Hewagama next ball and Park were 88 for 8. Johnny Ling joined Roger at the crease and these two scrambled another ten runs before the overs ran out with Park finishing 113 for 8, with Roger 12 not out and Lingo unbeaten on 9.
Park were just not strong enough for Bexley today, and were never really up with the required rate. Not a great deal to shout about in terms of individual performances, with John Ling walking away with the MOM with an excellent bowling spell, abley supported by Roger Weston.
