Park batted first with Kenny Robotham and prodigal son Paul Thompson doing the honours. Both openers were soon back in the hutch though, Kenny caught for 5 and Thommo bowled for a duck, and Park were 7 for 2. Alan Russell and Dave Fletcher turned things round, adding 34 before Fletch was caught for 12. Only one more run was added before Russell was also caught out, for a handy 23 and Park were 42 for 4. Skipper Roger Griffiths couldn't stop the rot and was caught and bowled for 2 (Park 49 for 5) followed by Craig Partridge caught for 4 (Park 58 for 6). Dave Brupbacher followed soon after, bowled for 10 (Park 61 for 7), and son Trev was caught for 1 to leave Park reeling at 65 for 8. Terry Shannon was bowled for 5 (Park 72 for 9) and when Carl Chamberlain was bowled for 4 Park were all out for a dismal 73 with Paul Moss 1 not out.
Blakes had no problem knocking the runs off despite Paul Moss' valiant efforts taking three wickets, two bowled and one caught behind by Bru. Al Russell chipped in trapping Kaislock LBW and a late run out halped make the scorecard almost respectable but Blake won the game easily finishing on 75 for 5.

A pretty embarassing defeat today with only two lads performing, Al Russell easily top scoring and picking up a wicket, and Paul Moss returning superb figures with 3 wickets. These two share the MOM.
